Job Specific Challenges
- The remoteness of the project sites meant freight and transport logistics had to be well thought through to ensure timely delivery of materials and machinery.
- Job sites were scattered across a 60km distance where mobile coverage was unavailable, therefore communication between sites and the office was limited.
- Construction water was scarce and the ongoing drought worsened this situation.
- Job was constructed under traffic with a number of specific requirements regarding lane closures around public holidays.
