Poruma Island is a sand island located in the Torres Strait Islands, works included 2,093m of gravity sewer, 68 manholes, 2 pump stations, high level and emergency overflows, ocean outfall, approximately 2,000m of house connections and building of a packaged sewerage treatment plant.
