Our program includes a quality management system based upon AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. The full support of our staff and contractors with whom we are associated are sought in actively pursuing this quest for quality.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

iso4801-health-safetyIt is our policy at LDI Constructions to take all practical steps to eliminate or reduce the risk of any injury to our employees, clients and visitors. We will do this by continually improving our Occupational Health and Safety systems and procedures and incorporating these as an integral part of our work. The objectives of this policy and its supporting procedures and guidelines are to:

  • Achieve zero incidents;
  • Eliminate hazards and risks within the LDI Constructions workplace;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our OHS management system to ensure ongoing continuous improvement;
  • Comply with all applicable OHS legislation;
  • Develop a culture that embraces OHS as a core value and is intrinsic to our ongoing business.

All personnel employed by LDI Constructions are responsible for reporting all risks, hazards, accidents, injuries and near misses, as soon as practicable. We expect all LDI Constructions personnel to act in a safe manner at all times, so as not to endanger themselves or those people around them.

Every manager and supervisor has personal and individual responsibility for the safety of those reporting to them, and for clients and visitors. To assist in the management of these responsibilities, we have a fully documented, implemented and maintained OHS management system. This OHS Policy is communicated to all employees and subcontractors, and is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to our organisation. Our OHS management system had been developed using AS4801 as the minimum requirement.
